All-Purpose Pre-Coat Investment (Paint-on) 4 X 200 ml

Use our All-Purpose Pre-Coat paint-on investment to cover patterns before the investing step. This results in a smoother surface finish, thus reducing finishing time. Pre-Coat investment can also be used in colloid molds to form a finer finish surface on the refractory model. Contains 4 of 200 ml jars.

Instructions for Use on Patterns:

1. Thoroughly mix the pre-coat investment before use.

2. Use a soft brush to paint all areas of the patterns and sprues. A second coat can be applied.

3. Shake the refractory model to remove any excess All-Purpose Pre-Coat.

4. Allow the coat to dry for about 10 minutes before pouring the investment, but do not allow the All-Purpose Pre-Coat investment to dry completely. 

Instructions for Use with Colloid Molds

1. Soak the master model for 10-20 minutes in 95°F (35°C) water, then allow to air dry.

2. Thoroughly mix the pre-coat investment before use. 

3. Pour the All Purpose Pre-Coat into the colloid mold. Uniformly coat the entire interior mold cavity. Invert the mold and shake to remove all excess All Purpose Pre-Coat.

4. Bench set the mold for 3 minutes, but do not allow it to dry completely, then pour the investment mix into the mold under vibration.
